At Electric City Chapter Scranton PA - H.O.G., we want you to feel welcome and part of our family. We provide access to a world of exclusive benefits to help you get the most out of your ownership experience. Come along for the ride or make your H.O.G. membership a way of life. Our events come in many types and sizes, but they’re always a great way to get together with other members and friends.
Originally Founded in 1968, the group has gone through name changes, owner changes and more but we are a group of motorcyclists, spouses and family members. Headquartered in Scranton, Pennsylvania, "Electric City" is derived from the fact that Scranton, PA was the first city with a successful electric operated trolley system in 1886. The Electric City Chapter of the Harley Owners Group is proudly sponsored by Hannum's Electric City Harley-Davidson dealership. Our chapter is dedicated to promoting a positive image of motorcycling, as well as enjoyment of the sport on virtually every level of activity.
Participating in charity fund-raising, community -betterment efforts and expression of humanitarian caring as well as many patriotic and strictly fun rides, our members come from literally every typr of career path, wear white collars, blue collars and of course plenty of orange and black!
New members are urged to take part in all activities they are interested in and should feel free to call on any of the officers for any information or details.
Our meetings are the last Saturday of every month at 10:00 am at the dealership. (Followed by a ride - weather permitting)
